2019 Klondike (33)
Boy Scout troops Easton 532, Preston 461, East New Market 754, Queenstown 148, and Kent Island 495 attended the 532/461 Invitational Klondike Derby held at Tuckahoe Steam and Gas on January 25 - 27. Scouts practice their winter camping skills and journey around the grounds on Saturday with their sled full of supplies to help them compete at various stations that show their scouting skills. Bear bag toss, hatchet throw, fire building, shelter building, knots, and First Aid were some of the stations. The day was capped off with the famous sled race and a huge campfire with skits and the Klondike song sung by First place winners Troop 148. -

Scouting for Food 3/18 (1)
The scouts of Elks BSA Troop 532 collected can goods for their yearly Scouting for Food drive, part of their giving and doing for others. Troop 532 meets on Sunday evenings at Elks Lodge 1622 in Easton and welcomes boys from 11 to 18 to join the very active troop. -
2018 Quad Eagle Ceremony (1)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 held a Quad Eagle Ceremony for four scouts on Sunday January 14 at a full to the rim Elks Lodge 1622 ballroom. Pictured after the event are State Senator Adelaide Eckardt, new Eagles Jake Conner, Michael Morrell, David Stockman,and Brendan Wazniak, and State Delegates Chris Adams and Johnny Mautz. The Court of Honor was opened and closed by the Choptank District Executive and Eagle Scout Mr. Hunter Layne, with remarks by Morrell family friend and Eagle Scout Mr. Ron Lee with Scout Will Schmidt serving as the MC for the night. The troop is led by Scoutmaster and Eagle Scout Eric Milhollan and meets at the lodge. -

Troop 532 hiked the Billy Goat Trail near Potomac, Md. on November 18, part of a three day adventure which included a stay at the Potomac UMC and the use of their gym. -

2016 Spring Delmarva Jamboree (3)
Troop 532 attended the Delmarva Council Jamboree in Dover on May 13-15. Troop, Pack and Crew 532 camped together with over 2500 other scouts from Delmarva. Troop 532 meets in Easton at the Elks and is headed by Scoutmaster Eric Milhollan. -

2016 Scouting for Food (1)
Delivery of collected food was made to the Easton Presbyterian Church's food pantry on Easter Monday by Boy Scout Troop 532. Each year the scouts collect their troop trailer full of food donated by the generous residents of Easton during the troop's " Scouting for Food" drive. This year the drive was coordinated by Life Scout Sean Wilson. Shown with some of the collected food are Troop 532 scribe Michael Clark, church members Terry Allen, Jeff Fahrman, and Tal Bone. -
Scout Family of the Year, 2016 (1)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 Scoutmaster Eric Milhollan, his wife Victoria, and their family, Brian, Ashton, EJ, and Pippa received the Scout Family of the Year Award on Thursday March 10 at the Choptank District Awards Dinner held at the Easton Elks. The entire family is involved with both boy and girl scouts and 4-H. The Choptank District is made up of the four mid-shore counties and is part of the Delmarva Council. -
Arrow of Light Ceremony for Pack 532, 2016 (20)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 members Brian and Ashton Milhollan, Tyler Redman and Erik Bell wait to perform the Arrow of Light Ceremony for Pack 532. Also involved in the ceremony was drummer Joe Mueller and OA adviser Jeff Bell. The troop inducted 14 new troop members after the ceremony. The troop is led by Scoutmaster Eric Milhollan and Senior Patrol Leader Jayke Conner. -
2016 Klondike Derby @ Camp Hensen (1)
Easton Boy Scout Troop 532 enjoyed the Klondike Derby held at Camp Hensen on January 30. The scouts used their sleds to go to various stations around the camp to show off and compete using their scouting skills. The troop meets at the Elks and the scoutmaster is Eric Milhollan. -
Ocean City 2015 (1)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 spent the weekend before Thanksgiving in Ocean City. They walked the boardwalk, stayed at the Gold Coast Comfort Inn, swam in the indoor pool and played frisbee on the beach. On the way home they played a round of miniature golf. Webelos from Pack 532 " camped" with the troop. They will cross over into the troop in February. Troop and Pack 532 meet at the Easton Elks Lodge 1622 and welcomes boys from 6 to 18 years old to come join the fun. -

Laurel Caverns 2015 (2)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 and Venture Crew 532 spent the weekend of October 17 caving and repelling at Laurel Caverns near Farmington Pa. The scouts camped at nearby Heritage Scout Reservation and enjoyed large warm campfires on the cold nights. The troop is lead by Scoutmaster Eric Milhollan and Senior Patrol Leader Jayke Conner and the crew is lead by adviser Jeff Bell and youth leader Brandon Westerfield. -
Antietam Battlefield 2015 (2)
Easton Boy Scout Troop 532 spent the last weekend before the start of the school year hiking a part of the Appalachian trail and visiting the Antietam Battlefield. It was Artillery weekend at the battlefield and the scouts learned about the types of weapons used during the Civil War battle that was fought there. Pictured are the scouts and their leaders at the Washington Monument. -

Boy Scout Honor Medal Awarded, 2013 (1)
Scott Bell, a local Eagle Scout from Easton Troop/Crew 532 received the Boy Scout Honor Medal Award during a special Court of Honor presentation on December 29, 2013 at the Easton Elks Lodge. This honor has been awarded to scouts who have demonstrated unusual heroism and skill in saving or attempting to save a life at considerable risk to self. Only 2,416 Honor Medal awards have been presented nationally since 1923. Bell and the members of his scout unit aided in the rescue of a Maine river guide and another individual. “I was able to use the training and skills I learned in the scout program to know how to react during this backwoods emergency. Ft. Delaware (4)
Members of Easton Troop and Pack 532 stayed overnight at Ft. Delaware on Pea Patch Island in the Delaware Bay off of Delaware City. The boys participated in a nighttime ghost tour of the fort and spent the night in the reconstructed Civil War POW barracks. -
2012 Eagle Ceremony - Alec Meintzer and Ty Carlson (51)
An Order of the Arrow Eagle Ceremony was held on August 12 at the Easton Elk Lodge for Alec Meintzer and Ty Carlson. The two new Eagles both started scouts in first grade and will now start college in two weeks continuing in scouting as members of Easton Venture Crew 532. The photo shows OA members Hunter Olson and Scott Bell performing the ceremony beside Alec and Ty. Other members helping were Erik Bell, Casey McClanahan, Tanner Dulin and London Walker. Master of Ceremonies was Life Scout Connor Murray.The religious leader was Pastor Wayne Grier of St. Mark's UMC. Alec and Ty have lead Troop 532, the OA and Venture Crew 532 by holding just about every position available. They received citations from the Elks, the Choptank District, The Town of Easton, Talbot County, Maryland House and Senate, Maryland Governor's office and Troop 532. Alec and Ty presented Venture Crew Leader Jeff Bell with a present for all that he has done for them. Refreshments were served after the ceremony. Alec is the son of Dana and Mary Jane Meintzer and Ty is the son of Tom and Dr. Jean Carlson. Alec's Eagle project was storm erosion control at the Old Wye Church in Wye Mills and Ty's Eagle project was fence repair and replacement at Pickering Creek -

Clay Shoot at Pintail Point 2011 (1)
Easton Elks Boy Scout Troop 532 shooting sports instructor Mark Murray gives direction and advice to scout August Boldt, son of Griff and Betsy Griffin, while at a clay shooting weekend event at Pintail Point this past Saturday October 15. In the background is instructor Dave Hopkins with scout Brandon Westerfield, son of Dave and Laurin Westerfield. Thirty four members of the troop participated in the shooting and safety program. Talbot Rod and Gun Club director Craig Willis attended the troop's meeting the week before to give handling and safety tips to the young shooters. -

2008 Jamboree (41)
The Jamboree is a once in every four years event for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and was held at Killen's Pond State Park in Delaware. Over 75 members of both Easton Troop 532 and Pack 532 attended the jamboree along with over 4500 other scouters from the entire peninsula. The Iron Chef contest had nineteen other teams from the entire council including a team made up of three youth members of the troop, Brandon Evans, Scott Bell, and Hunter Olsen. -
